WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE
Take your workforce development
program to the next level
What We Offer
For organizations looking to build or grow a workforce development program, Cara Institute provides an immersive, multi-day experience to equip practitioners with actionable approaches, tools, and resources to strengthen their reach and impact.
Through this immersive experience, you will dive into:
Discuss techniques to build and sustain participant interest, trust, and engagement.
Immerse yourself in a competency-based approach to socio-emotional skills training.
Gain perspective on how to cultivate employment partnerships, and make best-fit matches.
Obtain knowledge, tools, and skills to help job seekers retain and advance in long-term employment.
Collaborate with peers to workshop ideas on best practices, best failures, pain points, and opportunities.
Through this cohort-based program, attendees dive deep into Cara’s service delivery model with a focus on both successes and failures, to understand best (and explore emerging) practices in recruitment, socio-emotional training, employer partnerships, and retention. Attendees will workshop their own challenges and opportunities with other organizations and walk away with a community from which they can continue to learn and grow.
Who Should Attend
We encourage executive leaders, senior leadership, or front-line managers to attend Cara Institute. While the series gives all leadership levels effective takeaways, we recommend engaging multiple levels to maximize your experience. We suggest at least two people per organization (maximum of four).
We are currently running Cara Institute virtually, which includes 16 hours of programming over four sessions. Since this is a highly-interactive experience, attendance at all sessions is required. Registration is $250 per person, which includes ongoing assistance and access to resources upon completion. Scholarships are available.
