“My life before Cleanslate was challenging because I was facing so many barriers.
“I had a barrier to finding that employment opportunity I was looking for in my life. When I had employment before, it wouldn’t lead to a career or become substantial.
“The opportunity to be in Cleanslate gave me the encouragement, satisfaction, and the inspiration to do the best that I can and be the best person in my own life and for Cleanslate.
“A new experience I had at Cleanslate was Motivations. It was something different… all the clapping and smiling. It was awesome because I had never been around individuals who were so high-spirited and happy. Because I was a part of it, I told myself that I could do this.
“Because of Cleanslate, I have the will to do my best. Doing my best makes me so happy. I like getting reviews about how awesome I did on my route, my speed, or how I helped others. I encourage others because if I can do it, they can do it too.
“I am amplifying my voice to provide inspirational encouragement to others.
“My goal is to work in a hotel or in housekeeping. I would also like to work at the airport as a baggage carrier. I can’t fly a plane, but if I could I would. I want to help people.
“Now, I keep my ambitions and opportunities open. With Cleanslate and Cara, I know anything is possible.”
