Where the best come to work (and play)
to eradicate poverty
Join Our Team
Our goal is to be an equitable employer of choice that offers career depth and career mobility for as long as we have the good fortune of having you on our team. We want your experience at Cara to be one that excites you, invigorates you, and prepares you for the career you hope for over the long-term. Here’s some of what you can expect:
TEACH AND LEARN
We are all works in progress. We strive to be better every day through the collective wisdom of our community. While you’re here, we want to share our learnings with you and have you share yours with us as well. Together, we help each other to grow.
Great talent attracts great opportunity. As a result, we recognize we are but one stop on your robust career journey. For the time we are lucky enough to have you, we want to give you career development experiences that feed you professionally and help you unlock your power and purpose.
People come to work for a great mission. They stay to work with a great team. To keep our team connected, we focus on fun, on seeing joy even in the rough spots, and on ensuring our colleagues are seen for who they are and the unique gifts that they bring.
Culture and Values
A culture true to its name, Cara is the Irish word for “friend” and like all good “caras,” we work together, celebrate together, and stand together. We align on our core values of Motivation, Affirmation, Community, Structure, and Intentionality to make this mission sing while uplifting one another along the way.
The Cara community is diverse, reflecting the vibrancy of different people, personalities, practices, and pressures. With an outward mission to help other employers become more inclusive, we too hold the mirror to ourselves in recognition of two truths: we can be a great place to work, and still have work to do. And we remain steadfast in advancing towards equity and building a more inclusive workforce for all.
We currently provide the following industry-competitive
- Robust Insurance Package (medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, supplemental life, short and long-term disability)
- 401(k) Retirement Plan
- Flexible Spending Account
- Pre-tax Transportation Options
- Cell Phone Reimbursement
We are so proud to work with colleagues who share their stories or this mission with the world. Check out a few of our teammates and their recent accolades and opportunities.
