Cara Collective and CD One Price Cleaners Team Up for Clothing Drive
UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who supported our 2023 CD One Price Clothing Drive. With your help, we were able to collect more than 4,000 pieces of professional clothing that will go right to our job seekers and ensure they go into any interview full of confidence and swagger!
Cara Collective and CD One Price Cleaners are honored to once again partner for their professional clothing drive. From March 20 through March 31, all 36 Chicagoland CD One Price Cleaners’ locations will serve as donation sites for gently used professional attire. CD One will generously dry clean and press all donated clothing for Cara. Items being collected include suits, dresses, pants, shirts, blouses, and overcoats (in all sizes).

Weigel Broadcasting Co.’s MeTV FM and CW26 will once again proudly serve as media partners for the campaign, building community awareness through radio and television ads and a featured episode of 26 N. Halsted which airs Saturday, March 18 at 6:30 am CT on CW26 and Sunday, March 19 at 10 am on The U.
The CD One Price Clothing Drive annually collects more than 7,000 items of professional clothing for Cara’s job seekers – making it the workforce nonprofits largest annual drive. In 2021, the Drive saw unprecedented success, bringing in more than 28,000 pieces of clothing.
