Dantrell was working job after job, struggling not only financially, but also with finding opportunities to learn and grow. Seeing Cleanslate crews making a positive difference across Chicago is what gave him the motivation to join our crew, start a new career, and help his community.

Feeling stressed and in search of a new start, Dewanna found a job she loved at Cleanslate. Over time, she worked tirelessly with our team to build a better life for herself, which led to securing housing and getting her finances in order.

Right before he was released from prison, Justin learned that his mom passed away. Feeling lost and depressed, he turned to Cleanslate for a second chance. Today, he’s a star crew member, proving to himself and the world that his past will not define his future.

Lawrence was on the streets, dealing with the consequences of living a negative lifestyle. But then he found Cleanslate, where he could beautify neighborhoods just like his. Lawrence’s leadership caught the attention of the company, The Bazaar, and he became an integral member of their team.
