In Memory of Jack Costello

On November 3, the Cara Collective community lost a dear friend in John “Jack” Costello. A cherished supporter and believer in this work for more than 15 years, Jack embodied the spirit of our origins: that when you are at a low point, you can turn to a friend to lift you up. Jack used his personal and professional resources to forge opportunities for our job seekers, through his volunteering and by teaching the first class in ABM’s signature commercial cleaning curriculum at Cara. Through this partnership, we were able to train and credential more than 1,600 job seekers, setting them up for career success. In 2016, we honored Jack at our annual Tribute to the Stars event with the Thomas M. Owens Mission Award.

In honor of Jack’s dedication to this mission, the Costello family has requested a memorial fund for family and friends to contribute to Cara Collective and continue his work with our job seeker community. You can make a gift in the embedded form below.
