WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT SOLUTIONS LAB

    Amplify your organization’s
    reach and impact

An immersive lab on best practices and best failures from more than 30 years in workforce development

Our Workforce Development Solutions Lab is for organizations ready to help people with employment barriers obtain, retain, and advance in quality jobs. Dive deep into Cara’s service delivery model through workshops and one-on-one time with practitioners. Collaborate with other organizations to resolve your own challenges and tap into opportunities. Walk away with a fresh perspective and actionable steps to amplify your organization’s services, impact, and reach.

At this Lab, organizations will:

IMMERSE
yourself in a competency-based approach to socio-emotional skills training

DISCUSS
techniques to build and sustain participant interest, trust, and engagement

GAIN
perspective on how to cultivate and deepen employment partnerships

OBTAIN
knowledge, tools, and skills to help job seekers retain long-term employment

COLLABORATE
with peers to workshop best practices, pain points, and opportunities

What to expect

We are currently running our Workforce Development Solutions Lab in person and virtually. For in-person cohorts, you’ll join us for three days in Chicago at Cara Collective. For our virtual cohorts, you’ll attend four half-day sessions over the course of two weeks.

Who should attend

To maximize the experience and impact of our Workforce Development Solutions Lab, attending organizations must have a workforce development/job training component that is at least three years of age. We encourage executive leaders, senior leadership, or frontline managers to attend our Workforce Development Solutions Lab. While the series gives all leadership levels effective takeaways, we require at least one decision maker and at least one participant-facing staff member to maximize your experience (organizations may send two to four people).
