Emily Billups

Emily graduated from Dominican University in 2014 after majoring in criminology and sociology. She later joined Medix Staffing Solutions where she was praised as a critical support pillar for the team and leadership. Her passion about being a part of an organization dedicated to improving its surroundings led her to Cara Collective where she has assisted the CEO and the rest of the Executive Team since 2017. In her role, Emily is responsible for coordinating meetings, schedules, and special projects. In her goal is to be the glue that connects the organization together, she is also deeply involved in numerous committees and groups within Cara Collective including co-chairing the Employee Relations Committee for two years and sitting on Cara’s Equity Committee.
Emily’s first job: “I was a nanny while also working at a tutoring center.”
